Best time to trade in India using session analytics
Your edge may not exist all day. For many traders, profits come from one session while losses come from another.
Many traders review their day as one result: green or red. That hides the most useful information. You may trade well during the opening hour, lose discipline around midday, and give back gains near the close.
Session analysis separates performance into time windows. Once trades are grouped this way, patterns become visible: your best win rate, your worst drawdown, your highest average P&L and your most impulsive trading period.
What to measure by session
- Total P&L by session.
- Win rate and average P&L per trade.
- Number of trades per window.
- Drawdown and red streak behavior.
